Class Descriptions

Evening Flow Yoga is comparable to Flow Yoga but dialed down a notch honoring individuals’ energetic levels at the end of the day. This class allows you to arrive and enjoy quiet stillness, move the body and burn off excess energy, and wind down to a deeper state of relaxation as you prepare for your evening.

This class is appropriate for all beings with some prior experience. Vinyasa Flow
yoga emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated
with and guided by deliberate breath. This class moves from pose to pose with each held for no more than five to eight breaths. Expect a balanced class of forward ending, twists, backbends with opportunity for inversions. In this class, modifications are offered as well as invitations to deeper versions of the postures.

Foundations of Flow is an excellent class for beginners new to vinyasa or experienced practitioners looking to explore the foundational poses. It improves flexibility and strength, while reducing stress. The pace of the class is lower than our regular flow class and allows for more time to modify and study the poses and alignment.

This class will bring brightness into your mind, body and soul. We will incorporate breath-work and some TCM techniques to revitalize and restore. This class will be accessible for all levels. Here is to a bright and shiny YOU!

Pre- & Postnatal yoga supports well-being throughout pregnancy, prepares the body for labor, and helps integration for postpartum bodies. These classes emphasize meditation, dynamic breathing techniques, movement and stretching to help you feel more relaxed and connected to yourself and/or your baby. Each class provides a welcoming container to connect with your growing baby, and other mamas in the community.  Pre- & Postnatal yoga is appropriate for those new to yoga, as well as the experienced practitioner. All trimesters welcome as well as postpartum.

This class will ease your tension and help you connect with your inner self. Each class will consist of several restorative poses, which will be held for 8-30 minutes each. This allows for deep relaxation and resetting the parasympathetic nervous system which controls the body's ability to relax. This class is perfect for beginner or experienced yogis alike.

SHE RECOVERS ® Sharing Circles are intended for women and non-binary individuals—who are in or seeking recovery—to connect, learn, heal and
share within a group of like-hearted individuals.  These  circles of support are recovery-focused, free to attend and voluntarily facilitated by a SHE RECOVERS Certified Professional. All races, sexual orientations, and all those differences of life situations, backgrounds and abilities are welcome.

Additionally, we will find dynamic movement and breathe work to gently open up the body. Expect to find a deep full body stretch in this class and leave feeling rejuvenated.

Tai chi is an art embracing the mind, body and spirit. This class will focus on cultivating awareness, concentration, relaxation and balance from the inside out. Through the practice of mindful breathing and slow precise body movements, we can strengthen both our body and mind.

Breathwork allows you to quickly shift your emotional state, release stress and tension, increase relaxation or increase energy and bring in focus and clarity. Sessions are designed so that the practices can be integrated into your daily rhythm to allow more ease and flow. Johnna is a certified trauma-informed professional and will guide you through your breathwork session by empowering you in both voice and choice over your practice.

These two physical disciplines have much in common yet plenty of differences. This class is designed to challenge your core, balance, muscle strength and length. The blending of these two fun and lively modalities will bring you vitality and joy. By using breath, mindfulness and abdominal integrity Yoga and Pilates are woven together to bring you to your center. No two classes are the same, come as you are and explore the possibilities. All levels welcome.

Yin yoga is a slower, deeper, more inward-turning style of yoga. While you won’t get a cardiovascular workout from this class, you will still need to focus, challenge yourself, and lean into more internal body and mind work. Focusing on the fascia and connective tissues in the body, yin can help strengthen the joints, adding stability and balance to the body.

This 75-minute class is designed to empower you to build the inner fire, physical strength and self awareness. In this moving meditation based on the Journey into Power sequence, infused with elements of Tai Chi, you will be challenged to work with breaths and to honor your body while recognizing your edges. Prior experience with yoga may enhance the enjoyment of this class, but all fitness levels are welcome.
