Mommy & Baby Yoga

with Sorren Christie

Every Saturday  10am

@ 2 Wallace

This gentle and supportive class is designed for caregivers and their babies to connect through movement, breath, and play. Together we’ll explore yoga practices that support nervous system regulation, bonding, and postpartum recovery, while also incorporating developmentally supportive movements for babies. Caregivers will be guided through accessible yoga sequences that help rebuild strength, improve mobility, and create space for grounding and rest in the midst of early parenthood. Throughout class, babies are lovingly included through songs, touch, and movement that support their motor development, sensory exploration, and growing awareness of their bodies. This class is not about babies staying still or parents doing a perfect practice — it’s about co-regulation, connection, and meeting everyone exactly where they are. Feeding, soothing, and diaper changes are always welcome. No prior yoga experience is necessary. All caregivers are welcome. Best suited for babies pre-crawling to early crawling. However babies can be worn during practice as well. 3-12 months of age.

Music Healing: A Kirtan for Universal Peace

with Jonathan lambert

Saturday, April 25, 2026 05:30pm

@ 500 seneca

Through the use of the harmonium and the ancient practice of Kirtan, Jonathan creates heart-opening environments for seniors navigating the loneliness epidemic and cognitive decline. His work leverages the science of musical memory—often the last part of the brain to remain "lit up"—using vibration and rhythmic breath to reach residents where conventional language fails. In these sessions, the mantra is not a performance; it is a transmission of peace. By facilitating "collective effervescence" within care facilities, Jonathan transforms isolated rooms into spaces of shared joy. This is his devotion: ensuring that even as the body becomes fragile, the spirit remains vast, heard, and deeply connected to the universal frequency.
