Flow (Hybrid)

This class is appropriate for all beings with some prior experience. Vinyasa Flow yoga emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. This class moves from pose to pose with each held for no more than five to eight breaths. Expect a fully balanced class of forward bending, twists, backbends with opportunity for inversions.

In this class, modifications are offered as well as invitations to deeper versions of the postures. Each practitioner can work from where they are at. The sequences will build strength and flexibility, while increasing concentration and balance.

Foundations of Flow (Hybrid)

It improves flexibility and strength, while reducing stress. The pace of the class is lower than our regular flow class and allows for more time to modify and study the poses and alignment.

Gentle/Restorative (Hybrid)

This class will ease your tension and help you connect with your inner self. We will first move through a series of gentle poses connected by healing breathwork, followed by several restorative poses, which will be held for 3-5 minutes each. This allows for deep relaxation and resetting the parasympathetic nervous system which controls the body's ability to relax.

This class is perfect for beginner or experienced yogis alike.

Mindful Movement (Hybrid)

Mindful Movement is an excellent class for beginners new to vinyasa or experienced practitioners looking to explore the foundational poses.

It improves stability, strength, and flexibility while allowing space to explore and adopt new ways to experience life in your body.

Prenatal Yoga (Hybrid)

Prenatal yoga supports well-being throughout pregnancy and prepares the body for labor. These classes emphasize meditation, dynamic breathing techniques, movement and stretching to help you feel more relaxed and prepared for birth.
Each class provides a safe container to connect with your growing baby, and other pregnant people in the community. Expectant students may share their experience, connect, ask questions and exchange information. Prenatal yoga is appropriate for those new to yoga or the experienced practitioner. All trimesters welcome as well as postpartum.

Y12SR (Yoga of 12 Step Recovery) (Hybrid)

Y12SR “connects the dots” between the ancient wisdom of yoga, the practical tools of 12-step programs, and the latest research on trauma healing and neurobiology. As part of a holistic recovery program, it works in tandem with traditional treatment to address the physical, mental and spiritual disease of addiction.

The program serves people recovering from all manifestations of addiction, from behavioral addictions to substance abuse – creating a safe place on the mat where trauma can be released.

Y12SR is a free 60 minute class, where the first half will be spent exploring a recovery and yogic based concept, and the second half of class will expand on that concept through mindful movement.

Yin (Hybrid)

Yin yoga is a slower, deeper, more inward-turning style of yoga. While you won’t get a cardiovascular workout from this class, you will still need to focus, challenge yourself, and lean into more internal body and mind work. Focusing on the fascia and connective tissues in the body, yin can help strengthen the joints, adding stability and balance to the body.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a donation based class. Donations are accepted on-site.

Yoga Nidra is a deep guided relaxation that is said to offer the same effects of 2-3 hours of sleep.

Yoga Nidra suspends us in a space between wakefulness and sleep, a place where we visit naturally before we fall asleep. Some elements of this style of Yoga Nidra will include a heart's longing, body scan and a journey all while participants are lying comfortably on the floor.

Think lots of props, blankets and pillows. Yoga Nidra can be completed in a chair or in a seat if desired.

Some benefits of Yoga Nidra include moving the body into a parasympathetic state which is ideal for healing and digestion, helps with stress, insomnia, anxiety, lowers blood pressure and so much more!

There will be some gentle movement and meditation to begin class followed by the guided Yoga Nidra ending with an optional integration activity to complete class.

Class will be the 3rd Thursday of the month for October, November and December at 7pm.
